It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Trumbull can now relate to. They lost to the Manchester Red Hawks on the road by a 64-45 margin on Tuesday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Manchester's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Will Oden-Tann, who shot 47% from the field en route to 23 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Derrick Sheets, who went 8-for-17 on his way to 20 points and six rebounds.

Trumbull's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Manchester, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record this season.

Trumbull does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Manchester, they will face off against New London at 8:15 p.m. on Sunday. Manchester knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 25 matches -- so hopefully New London likes a good challenge.
