Baseball Recap: Jones Takes a Loss

Jones and El Campo squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Jones had to settle for second. They lost 9-3 to the Ricebirds. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

BJ Rivas made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Luke Roznovsky was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Jones' loss dropped their record down to 8-16-1. As for El Campo, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-8-1.

As of now, neither Jones nor the Ricebirds have any future games scheduled.
