Basketball Recap: Rauner Comes Up Short

Rauner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 65-21 loss at the hands of the Rowe-Clark Masai Lions. The Wildcats were probably out for revenge after losing 49-22 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rauner's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Rowe-Clark, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Rauner and Rowe-Clark's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Rauner and Noble Street College Prep (who has only given up 24.25 points per game) will meet at 5:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Meanwhile, Rowe-Clark will take on Muchin College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a team that's only allowed 29.88 points per game.
