Volleyball Recap: Wild Rose Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Wild Rose was the 3-1 winner over Rosholt when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Wild Rose sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 20-25, 25-14, 20-25, 15-6.

Lilly Luchini paced Wild Rose's offense, picking up 20 kills. Luchini got some help from Ella Tratz and her 26 assists. Tratz also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Khloe Wolf, each putting up three.

Wild Rose's defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8. As for Rosholt, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-13.

Wild Rose didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Assumption on the 16th. As for Rosholt, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Iola-Scandinavia on the 16th.
