Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gunter). They blew past the S & S Consolidated Rams 66-33 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Tigers have posted since January 19, 2024.

S & S Consolidated's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brightin Mcnabb, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Orr, who put up nine points.

Gunter pushed their record up to 3-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for S & S Consolidated, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Gunter Tigers take on the Bells Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for S & S Consolidated, they will venture away from home to square off against Poolville at 6:15 p.m. on January 10th.
