Softball Recap: Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Find Success

While Dighton-Rehoboth Regional's victory against Bishop Feehan wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons never let the Shamrocks get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Shamrocks: they've now won three in a row.

The result came thanks to Edy LaTour's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 18 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Haleigh Kelley was excellent, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run.

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Bishop Feehan, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Feehan, they will head out to face off against Taunton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their 19th straight victory, something the Shamrocks surely won't give up without a fight.
