Softball Recap: Strafford Indians vs. Reeds Spring Wolves
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against El Dorado Springs, Strafford was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Reeds Spring Wolves as they made off with a 16-5 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-3 back in April.

Sarah Canales made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over 4.2 innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Strafford hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive matches.
