Volleyball Game Preview: Brookfield East Spartans vs. Menomonee Falls Phoenix

The Brookfield East Spartans will head out on the road to square off against the Menomonee Falls Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Brookfield East is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wisconsin's top teams: Waunakee, who was ranked fourth at the time (Brookfield East was ranked sixth). The Spartans fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Menomonee Falls came up short against Waunakee on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Brookfield East's defeat dropped their record down to 23-5. As for Menomonee Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 21-7.

Brookfield East came out on top in a nail-biter against Menomonee Falls in their previous meeting back in August, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Phoenix have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
