Basketball Game Preview: Hillsdale Falcons vs. Waynedale Golden Bears

The Hillsdale Falcons will take on the Waynedale Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Hillsdale strolled past Mapleton with points to spare, taking the game 68-54.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waynedale). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Northwestern 79-42. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Bears sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Waynedale's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-11. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.5 points. As for Hillsdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Hillsdale strolled past Waynedale when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 66-49. Does Hillsdale have another victory up their sleeve, or will Waynedale turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
