Softball Recap: Chelsea Comes Up Short

Chelsea lost to Lynn Classical back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Devils lost 17-2 to the Rams. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chelsea's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Lynn Classical, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chelsea will welcome Cathedral at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19 runs per game on average), something the Red Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lynn Classical, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wayland at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
