Football Recap: Silverado Takes a Loss

Silverado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans an easy 28-6 victory. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Skyhawks of the 34-21 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Silverado's record is now 1-7. As for Cimarron-Memorial, their win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Spring Valley the next time they take the field. Silverado will host Spring Valley at 4:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025, while Cimarron-Memorial will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
