Baseball Game Preview: Wakefield Warriors vs. James Madison Warhawks

The Wakefield Warriors will square off against the James Madison Warhawks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Wakefield lost 13-1 to Herndon on Friday. The Warriors have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Wakefield saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Bull, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Meanwhile, James Madison fell victim to Miller School of Albemarle and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Mavericks by a score of 1-0. The loss was the Warhawks' first of the season.

Wakefield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for James Madison, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
