Volleyball Recap: South Holt Knights vs. West Nodaway Rockets
South Holt lost against West Nodaway on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Rockets.
While South Holt had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19.
Jacelyn Fansher paced South Holt's offense, picking up eight kills. Fansher got some help from Chloe Debee and her 12 assists. Camdyn Davison controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
West Nodaway found their leader in sophomore Annalee Livengood, who had 11 assists and nine digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Emalee Wynn, who had four digs and one assist.
South Holt has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-5-1 record this season. As for West Nodaway, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Coming up, South Holt will take on Mound City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Nodaway, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Tournament Opponent on the 6th.
