Basketball Game Preview: Kendrick Cherokees vs. Dothan Wolves

Kendrick is on a five-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Dothan is on a six-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Cherokees will take on the Wolves in a tournament on Friday. Kendrick has given up an average of 55 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kendrick is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Newnan just ended the team's nine-game winning streak on Monday. They took a hard 68-54 fall against the Cougars.

Meanwhile, couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2025 than the 67-34 stomp they got against Georgiana. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

Kendrick's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Dothan, their victory bumped their record up to 15-1.
