Flag Football Game Preview: Liberty Lions vs. Heritage Patriots

The Liberty Lions will head out to face off against the Heritage Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a ten-game winning streak alive.

On Monday, Liberty earned a 20-7 win over Freedom. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Lions' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Falcons are ranked 422nd).

Meanwhile, Heritage never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past Antioch, posting a 42-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won ten contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Liberty, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.

Liberty didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Heritage in their previous matchup on September 3rd, but they still walked away with a 13-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
