Basketball Recap: Nordheim Comes Up Short

After flying high against Prairie Lea last Friday, Nordheim came back down to earth. The Nordheim Pirates fell just short of the Waelder Wildcats by a score of 49-46 on Thursday. The Pirates have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Nordheim's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Waelder, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-16.

Nordheim wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 68-30 victory against Runge on the 24th. Waelder has also already played their next game (against Austwell-Tivoli), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
