Basketball Recap: Vashon Island Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Vashon Island lost to Overlake back in December of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Vashon Island Pirates came out on top against the Overlake Owls by a score of 38-27.

Vashon Island's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9. As for Overlake, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Vashon Island will head out to take on Chimacum at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Chimacum will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Vashon Island surely won't give up without a fight. As for Overlake, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bear Creek at 5:30 p.m.
