Basketball Recap: Prospect Mountain Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Prospect Mountain and Stevens squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Prospect Mountain had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 26-20 to the Stevens Cardinals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 26-20 last Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Prospect Mountain and nudges their season record down to 13-9. Sadly, the team can't blame their woes on tough opposition, as that stretch included 7-12 Stevens and 8-12 Stevens. As for Stevens, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Prospect Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Stevens has already played their next contest (against Fall Mountain), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
