Volleyball Recap: Nova Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Nova kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes. The defeat continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Golden Tornadoes: they've now lost six in a row.

Pompano Beach pushed their record up to 1-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Nova will challenge Piper at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pompano Beach, they will square off against Coral Springs Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
