Softball Recap: Dudley Comes Up Short

Dudley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Atkins Camels, falling 16-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Camels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 back in March.

Dudley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jamaya Raley, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-1.

Dudley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Atkins, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Dudley will be playing at home against Ben L. Smith at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are facing the Golden Eagles at the right time seeing as the Golden Eagles are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Atkins, they have already played their next contest, a 20-2 loss against Glenn on the 2nd.
