Basketball Recap: Mt. Enterprise Comes Up Short

Mt. Enterprise lost against Douglass back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mt. Enterprise Wildcats were outmatched by the Douglass Indians and fell 65-21. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-13.

When it comes to explaining why Mt. Enterprise lost, don't look at Tracey Thompson. Despite the final result, he posted four points and six rebounds.

Mt. Enterprise dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Douglass, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13.

Mt. Enterprise will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against New Summerfield at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Enterprise is facing New Summerfield at the right time seeing as New Summerfield is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Douglass and Brook Hill will compete for holiday cheer at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Brook Hill knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Douglass likes a good challenge.
