Basketball Recap: Melrose Takes a Loss

Melrose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 69-26 loss at the hands of the Minnewaska Area Lakers. The match marked the Dutchmen's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Melrose's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Minnewaska Area, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

While Melrose had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
