Basketball Game Preview: Donegal Indians vs. Lancaster Catholic Crusaders

The Donegal Indians will venture away from home to square off against the Lancaster Catholic Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Donegal came up into this matchup off a tough 22-point defeat on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Elizabethtown by a score of 51-48 on Monday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Lancaster Catholic can bid farewell to their 17-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They skirted past Columbia 57-55. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Crusaders considering their 14-point performance the game before.

Lancaster Catholic's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-17. As for Donegal, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Donegal was able to grind out a solid win over Lancaster Catholic in their previous meeting on January 8th, winning 66-59. The rematch might be a little tougher for Donegal since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
