Baseball Recap: Nampa Christian Takes a Loss

Nampa Christian couldn't beat Marsing on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Trojans fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 5-4. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 9-5.

Nampa Christian's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 12-4-1. As for Marsing, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.

Coming up, Nampa Christian will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Vision at 5:30 p.m. Nampa Christian is facing Vision at the right time seeing as Vision is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Marsing, they will head out on the road to face off against New Plymouth at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pilgrims have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season.
