Volleyball Recap: Portsmouth Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Portsmouth Christian Academy and Farmington squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Portsmouth Christian Academy had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-2 defeat on October 1st.

Molly Marquis paced Portsmouth Christian Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Marquis got some help from Lexi Jordan and her 41 assists. Jordan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Portsmouth Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Farmington, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Portsmouth Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Farmington has already played their next matchup (against Trinity), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
