Softball Recap: King Takes a Loss

King came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Chamberlain Storm, falling 21-0. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

King has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. Chamberlain has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, King and Chamberlain will both be playing Leto the next time they take the field. Chamberlain will head out to face Leto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while King will host them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
