Basketball Recap: Sharon-Mutual Comes Up Short

Sharon-Mutual was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 88-39 loss at the hands of the Deer Creek-Lamont Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 396th, while the Eagles are ranked 95th).

Sharon-Mutual's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Deer Creek-Lamont, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

Sharon-Mutual will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Blair at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Deer Creek-Lamont, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Tonkawa at 12:00 p.m.
