Northfield hadn't done well against Mankato West recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Northfield Raiders simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mankato West Scarlets 73-41. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Northfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Maia Richardson, who went 6-for-9 to rack up 17 points and six rebounds. Those 17 points gave Richardson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Grace Mostad, who went 5-for-11 en route to 13 points.

Northfield was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive contests.
