Flag Football Recap: Destiny Christian Academy Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Destiny Christian Academy owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They managed a 6-0 victory over the Mira Loma Matadors. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Lions' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 177th, while the Matadors are ranked 577th).

Destiny Christian Academy's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.0 points on average over those games. As for Mira Loma, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Destiny Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Natomas at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mira Loma, they will head out to take on Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
