Volleyball Recap: Start Takes a Loss

Start was the 3-2 winner over Bowsher when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell just short of the BlueRacers by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Start wouldn't go down easily and took Bowsher into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 24-26, 18-25, 16-14.

Start's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Bowsher, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-12.

Coming up, Start will head out to challenge Ross at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Bowsher, they will square off against Lima Senior at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
