It's playoff time, and Menomonee Falls had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Homestead Highlanders 3-0 on Friday. The Phoenix not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 1st (when they won 3-0).

Menomonee Falls didn't let Homestead take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 25-22.

Menomonee Falls' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nate Kapp, who had 18 assists and five digs. Kapp has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Blake Gaar, who had 15 digs.

Menomonee Falls' record is now 18-16. As for Homestead, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 20-16.

Coming up, Menomonee Falls will face off against Germantown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warhawks will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Phoenix surely won't give up without a fight. Homestead does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
