Basketball Recap: Parsippany Hills Vikings vs. Parsippany Redhawks
Parsippany Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Parsippany Redhawks. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Redhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.
Parsippany got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was David Niedermaier out in front who posted 16 points and three steals. Niedermaier continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Schmieder, who went 7 for 9 en route to 17 points and eight rebounds.
