Morro Bay and Atascadero are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2022, but not for long. The Morro Bay Pirates will be playing at home against the Atascadero Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Morro Bay turned things around against Reedley on Friday. They came out on top against Reedley by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Atascadero beat Mission College Prep 3-1 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Greyhounds.

Atascadero walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23, 17-25, 25-13.

Morro Bay's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Atascadero, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.

Morro Bay skirted past Atascadero 3-2 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will Morro Bay repeat their success, or does Atascadero have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
