Volleyball Recap: Centura Centurions vs. Broken Bow Indians
Centura lost against Broken Bow back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Centura Centurions fell just short of the Broken Bow Indians by a score of 2-1.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Centura sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 22-25, 25-23.
Broken Bow can attribute much of their success to Maren Chapin, who had four digs, two aces, and two aces. That's the most aces Chapin has posted in her last ten games.
Centura dropped their record down to 5-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Broken Bow, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Centennial the next time they take the court. Centura will host Centennial at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Broken Bow will play them later in the day, at TBD.
