Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harvard-Westlake). They never let the Chaminade Eagles onto the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Monday. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 145th, while the Eagles are ranked 931st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Harvard-Westlake back to even at 3-3-2. As for Chaminade, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7-1.

Harvard-Westlake and Chaminade's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Harvard-Westlake and Loyola (who has only given up 0.4 goals per game) will meet at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Chaminade will take on Notre Dame (SO) at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, a team that's only allowed 0.5 goals per game.
