Softball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison lost to Dirigo back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Cougars, falling 13-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Dirigo, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will face off against Monmouth Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Dirigo, they will square off against Mountain Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
