Reeths-Puffer dropped their record down to 8-9 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the West Michigan Christian Patriots by a score of 6-4. The Rockets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

As for West Michigan Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games.
