Soccer Recap: Courtland Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Courtland can now relate to. They came up short against the Monacan Chiefs on Friday, falling 6-0. Courtland have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Courtland's loss dropped their record down to 11-5-2. As for Monacan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season.

Courtland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monacan, they will face off against Chancellor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chancellor will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Monacan surely won't give up without a fight.
