Hickory is a perfect 7-0 against King's Fork since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Hawks will venture away from home to challenge the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Hickory is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Northampton on Wednesday. The Hawks fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, King's Fork unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 7-3 to Deep Creek.

King's Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Hickory, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Hickory took their win against King's Fork when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
