Sedgwick County entered their tilt with Weldon Valley on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sedgwick County took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-8.

Lainee Nein paced Sedgwick County's offense, picking up 15 kills. Nein got some help from Ryen Carlson and her 11 assists. Gracie Amendt and Kinley Kizer kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Sedgwick County's record now sits at 3-0. As for Weldon Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Sedgwick County is taking a road trip to take on Fleming at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Weldon Valley, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Hi-Plains at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
