Baseball Game Preview: Ada Bulldogs vs. Columbus Grove Bulldogs

Ada will square off against Columbus Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Ada took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Temple Christian as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Ada let Thad Smith and Andrew Allen run wild. Smith went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs, while Allen went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave Allen a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Levi Green, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs.

Meanwhile, Columbus Grove waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Rockets a 13-0 shutout.

Ada's victory bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Columbus Grove, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.
