Basketball Recap: South O'Brien Takes a Loss

South O'Brien was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the George-Little Rock Mustangs, falling 55-30. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-28 back in December of 2024.

South O'Brien's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for George-Little Rock, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

South O'Brien has already played their next game, a 38-36 defeat against Harris-Lake Park on the 4th. As for George-Little Rock, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-51 loss against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn on the 4th.
