Softball Recap: Alpaugh Takes a Loss

Alpaugh and Strathmore squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Alpaugh had to settle for second. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 19-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Buffalos' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Alpaugh dropped their record down to 10-8 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Strathmore, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-8.

Alpaugh does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Strathmore, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Corcoran at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
