The St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers will take on the Jefferson County North Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with St. Mary's-Colgan sitting on 12 straight victories dating back to last season and Jefferson County North on five.
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Mary's-Colgan had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against St. Marys as St. Mary's-Colgan made off with a 33-8 win. The result was nothing new for St. Mary's-Colgan, who have now won ten contests by 25 points or more so far this season.
Tucker Harrell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 146 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 125 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes. Cooper Simmons also helped out as he racked up 119 rushing yards.
Meanwhile, Jefferson County North got themselves on the board against Olpe on Friday, but Olpe never followed suit. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 52-0 victory over the Eagles. The result was nothing new for Jefferson County North, who have now won seven games by 36 points or more so far this season.
Their wins bumped St. Mary's-Colgan to 11-0 and Jefferson County North to 10-1.
