Soccer Recap: Taft Comes Up Short

Taft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Yamhill-Carlton. That's two games in a row now that Taft has lost by just one goal.

Taft's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Yamhill-Carlton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Taft will take on Dayton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Yamhill-Carlton, they will face off against Amity at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
