Baseball Recap: Apache Warriors vs. Dibble Demons
After a string of 11 wins, Apache's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell victim to a rough 13-2 loss at the hands of the Dibble Demons. Apache was red-hot at the plate headed into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the five contests prior) but Dibble's pitchers proved too tough.
Dom Scott was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and a double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last six games he's played.
On Dibble's side, they got a great performance from Tucker Bloodworth as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits.
