Volleyball Recap: North Platte Takes a Loss

North Platte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the East Buchanan Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-5, 25-9.

Kaylynn Engnes had an outrageously good game for East Buchanan as she had 13 digs and three aces. Kali Bodenhausen also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

North Platte's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for East Buchanan, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-10-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. North Platte is set to take on their familiar foe Mid-Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, East Buchanan will square off against rival Plattsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
