Softball Recap: Cherokee County's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak at Home

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Cherokee County couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the White Plains Wildcats by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Cherokee County's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-6. As for White Plains, their win bumped their record up to 20-17.

As of now, neither Cherokee County nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
