Jackson Meece posted a new career-low in walks on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Northeast is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-13 otherwise.

Coming up, Meece and Northeast will face off against Springfield at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are 9-1 against the Yellow Jackets going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
