Greenfield came tearing into Wednesday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 54-48 W against the Dresden Lions. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 42-29 victory back in February.

Greenfield's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Dresden, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-9.

Greenfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dresden, they are taking a road trip to challenge Middle College on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Middle College has won seven straight at home, while Dresden won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
